Becoming is a visual meditation on the quiet unraveling and reweaving of the self in the aftermath of rupture. In this series, Hadieh Afshani uses layered imagery—dissolving architecture, translucent figures, rooted trees—to explore the in-between space where memory and transformation collide. These works speak to the invisible weight of starting over, honoring the fragile beauty of what breaks and what slowly begins again.
