The fact that architectural places live usually longer than us, makes them silent observers of us for generations after generations. I used clay to form the vessels that I broke later and put them back together. Drawing with layers of transparent or dry mediums, I then sandpaper them to create wavy images of some faces at different spaces on broken surfaces that are just jointed together. For creating these works I have been working from the historical places and intimate places in search of trace of ancestry myths and legendary stories of the people of these regions. I try to see them and relate them to today’s life of people of those region.
